Outcast - A Paralympic cycling story

“I don’t think anyone outside of the British cycling program has ever been selected for the Paralympic Games, I don’t see why I can’t be the first.”

The original brief was to make a short film about the highs and lows of a Paralympic training training camp. We met Blaine Hunt who displayed so much hunger to achieve success we were completely enamoured by his relentless pursuit. He truly wears his heart on his sleeve, which we later realised was much to his detriment.

The finished film is a deep dive into the psyche of an athlete who is fast enough to be competing at the highest level yet has not yet been accepted into the elite.

This film is a story for anyone who’s ever felt like the underdog.

Thank you Blaine for sticking with us and letting us in to you life.
